Solo Italiano's Green Pesto sauce is a mix of 100% Italian ingredients with NO Preservatives added. It is prepared according to an Italian recipe. This sauce was born in Genova (North West Italy) and the word "Pesto" come from the verb "Pestare" that means "To Pound". It is made with fresh leaves of basil, pine nuts, salt, a mix of cheeses (Parmiggiano Reggiano, Grana Padano), sugar, garlic, which is crushed and blended all together with olive oil.
